Boy's Tournament Rules
Overarching Rules

Penalties will be enforced by man-up and man-down

2018 NCAA Rules for High School and 8th Grade, shot clock applies
-
7th grade boy's will follow US Lacrosse 14U rules
-
6th grade boy's will follow US Lacrosse 14U rules
-
4/5th grade boy's will follow US Lacrosse 12U rules with exceptions listed below
4/5th Grade Boy's Game Format:
Day 1: (Approximately 45 minutes)
-
18-minute running halves
-
3-minute half time
-
One 1 minute timeout per half (stop time)
-
Penalties will be stop clock 20 & 40 seconds
-
No horn-sub on the fly
-
Brave hearts if tied at end of regulation
Day 2 & Day 3 (Approximately 60 minutes)
-
10 minute running quarters with 2 minute breaks
-
4 minute half time
-
One 1 minute timeout per half - Stop clock
-
Penalties are 1 minute and 30 seconds - Stop clock
-
No horn-sub on fly
-
The last minute of game time will be stop clock if there is a 2 or less goal differential
-
Tie breaker-Sudden Victory with 5-minute running clock period and a 1-minute break between extra periods. Teams are allowed one 30 second timeout per period

After one overtime, teams will play a brave heart

First goal wins
-
No timeouts
-
Play will not stop for injury that occurs during transition play
-
No substitution
-
One (1) player must remain on side at all times
-
If play is stopped for injury, teams are allowed to substitute
-
Play will stop for serious injury, especially if occurs in scrimmage area
-
Penalties will be a change of possession
Bracket Seeding: ties are broken in the following way:

Record in pool play
-
Head-to-head*
-
Goals against
-
Goal differential
-
Coin flip
*In the case of a two way tie head-to-head record will be used, in the case of a three way tie the seeding tie will be broken by goals against- NOT head-to-head
